SOUTH BEND, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office announced:

Daniel Whited, 41, of Winamac, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Christopher Nuechterlein to count one of an indictment charging him with distribution of marijuana. Sentencing has been set for 11/3/11. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Pulaski County Sheriff, and the Indiana State Police. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John Maciejczyk.

Mark Schwartzhoff, 43, of Goshen, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Christopher Nuechterlein to count one of an information charging him with wire fraud. Sentencing has been set for 11/2/11. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jesse Barrett.
