FORT WAYNE, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office announced the following activity:
William Howard, 39, of Decatur, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of being a felon in possession of a firearm. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Adams county Sheriff’s Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lovita Morris King.
Carl White, 26, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of being a felon in possession of a firearm. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina Nommay.
Jarvis Buchanan, 31, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force, the Indiana State Police, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Police Department, the Allen County Drug Task Force, and the New Haven Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Lesley Miller Lowery and Anthony Geller.
The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
