Sixteen Charged in Drug Trafficking Conspiracy

FORT WAYNE, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office today announced that a Criminal Complaint charging Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine was filed in federal court.  The complaint alleges a conspiracy to distribute cocaine in the greater Fort Wayne area from July 2008 to May 2009.

Named in the criminal complaint, all of Fort Wayne, were:

  • ANDRE L. HUTCHINS, age 38
  • TALITHA N. HUTCHINS, age 31
  • ARIELEAN HUTCHINS, age 73     
  • CHARLES DIES, age 52
  • PARIS JONES, age 37
  • TAKIESHA MCGLASTON, age 34
  • ADRIAN LEE, age 37
  • KEVIN PORTER, age 51
  • JOHN MINNIEFIELD, age 31
  • GREG JOHNSON, age 38
  • DERRICK TENNANT, age 32
  • LAKESHIA DOMINGUEZ, age 31
  • FREDERICK PARRISH, age 29
  • MICHAEL WATSON, age 33
  • BRAD MOORE, age 23
  • MICHAEL LAMB, age 47

Additionally, Charles DIES, Adrian LEE and Kevin PORTER were also charged with Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime, and Paris JONES was charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Search Warrants were served at 15 locations.  They are:

  • 559 Candlelite Court, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 2726 Jacobs Creek Run, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 7509 Kern Valley Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 4319 Gaywood Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 2626 Pittsburg Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 410 Southfair Court, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 6715 John Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 720 Lawton Place, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 13119 Bolinni Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 1715 Cortland Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 2024 Embassy Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • 5720 West Hills Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana (Lamb)

Unit L0416 and Unit E0201 at Public Storage, 1801 West Coliseum Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46808

Unit 15, Building A, at Casual Cartage, 2504 Getz Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804

This complaint was the result of an extensive cooperative investigation.  Participating in this investigation were Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Police Department, the Indiana State Police, and the Internal Revenue Service. 

Also participating were the United States Marshal’s Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the IMAGE Drug Task Force. 

This case will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Anthony Geller and Tina Nommay.

The specific sentence to be imposed upon conviction in each case will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.  The United States Attorney’s Office emphasized that a Complaint is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
