Laboratory Specialized Training Program
Crime Scene Survey, Documentation, and Diagramming (FST 150)
Course Length: One week Eligible Students: Police investigator, evidence technicians and/or crime laboratory personnel responsible for documenting crime scenes Pre-requisites: None Description: This course covers basic crime scene survey and diagramming techniques. Instruction in diagramming methodology, reading scales and producing scale drawings, finished drawings will be presented. Information on courtroom presentations will be provided. Students will participate in practical exercises at Hogan’s Alley where they will be given the opportunity to practice surveying, documenting and diagramming mock crime scenes.
