DESCRIPTION

On November 20, 2006, FBI Newark and FBI Philadelphia announced the recovery of the 1778 painting by Francisco de Goya y Lucientes entitled Children with a Cart.

On November 8, 2006, Children with a Cart, a painting by Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, was discovered missing while being transported from the Toledo Museum of Art, in Toledo, Ohio, to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. It was to be included in the exhibition Spanish Painting from El Greco to Picasso: Time, Truth, and History which opened at the Guggenheim on November 17, 2006.
