Archdiocese of San Antonio

During June and July 2000, various religious artifacts with great historical value were stolen from the San Antonio Archdiocese. The objects stolen include an antique latin sacramental prayer book and three statues removed from a church altar (images and descriptions below). A hand carved wooden statue of the Virgin Mary dating to the 18th century, an antique incense burner (thurible), and four paintings have already been recovered.
