Adolph Sehring
Between 7:00 p.m.,
February 1, 1999 and 10:30 a.m., February 2, 1999,
the Aka'Mai Gallery, Del Mar, California, was burglarized.
Stolen from the gallery were four paintings and
four
sculptures by Adolph Sehring, member of a German-Russian
artist family. The first painting is entitled "Treasures
of the Sea", oil on canvas, 20" x 30";
the second painting is entitled "Peonies and
Lace", oil on canvas, 20" x 24";
the third painting is entitled "Garden in Bloom",
oil on canvas; and the fourth painting is entitled
"Dusk at Piedmont", oil on canvas.
