On January 21, 2003, the Philadelphia Division recovered a painting by Adolphe Joseph Thomas Monticelli entitled "The Haycart." The painting was done in 1882 and was stolen from a private party in Pennsylvania in 2002 and was slated to be sold at auction in Paris, France, when agents intervened and were able to recover the stolen artwork.
