Willem de Kooning

Between July 7 and August 8, 2003, a drawing by Willem de Kooning was stolen during the burglary of a private residence in Mission Viejo, California.

The artwork is an untitled work, circa 1952, believed to be a study for De Kooning's "Woman" series. It is 22" x 15 3/4" and is graphite on canvas, signed "de Kooning" lower right.
