The Art Theft Notices displayed on the FBI web site constitute only a partial listing of the objects registered on the National Stolen Art File. All requests for searches of the National Stolen Art File must be made through a law enforcement agency.

People with information regarding a theft should contact the nearest FBI field office or United States Embassy.
