FBI Releases Photos in Suburban Weekend Bank Robbery

The FBI is releasing photographs of an older man who robbed a suburban-area bank earlier today. The robbery happened at the Citibank located at 10011 Cypresswood Drive in Houston, Texas.

At approximately 11:20 a.m., the man walked into the bank alone. He handed the teller a threatening note claiming to have a gun. The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber ran out of the bank and was last seen running North across Cypresswood Drive. No one was hurt during the robbery.

A weapon was not seen by witnesses to the bank robbery.

The bank robber was described as a white or Hispanic male, mid-50s, 5’6” to 5’7” tall, and weighing 140-150 pounds. He wore a red, white, and blue plaid long-sleeved shirt, jeans, a white baseball cap, and black tennis shoes with white trim.
