FBI Releases Photographs of Bank Robber Posing as Holiday Shopper

The FBI is releasing photographs of a bank robber who posed as a holiday shopper before robbing a 1st Convenience Bank located inside a Houston-area Kroger store at 12620 Woodforest (at Normandy) in Houston, Texas, this weekend. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured close-up photographs of the bank bandit, and some show him pushing a grocery cart just before the robbery. The photographs are below. At approximately 1:02 p.m., the man abandoned his grocery cart, entered the bank, and approached a teller. He handed the teller a threatening note demanding cash. The teller gave the robber some cash from her drawer, and then he fled on foot. He was last seen walking eastbound from the Kroger parking lot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s, 150–180 pounds, 5’8” – 5’9” tall, with a slim build. He had tattoos under his left eye and on his neck and arms. He wore a plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and brown work boots.
