BMX Bandit Peddles Away on Child-Sized Bike

The Missouri City Police Department and FBI need your help to identify the man who robbed a Missouri City bank and then got away on a child-sized bike earlier today.

At about 1:50 p.m., a man entered the Amegy Bank of Texas, located at 5820 Hwy 6, Missouri City, Texas. He approached the teller counter and pulled out a handgun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he left the bank peddling away on a child-sized BMX bicycle. No one was physically hurt.

The robber is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, approximately 5’10” tall, and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black sweat shirt, gray sweatpants, white gloves, and gray tennis shoes.
