FBI Releases Bank Robber, Getaway Car Pictures in Grocery Store Bank Robbery

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is releasing pictures (at the end of this release) in hopes of generating tips in the case; if you recognize the suspect and/or getaway car, please contact the FBI. The robbery happened at the Wells Fargo Bank located inside an HEB store at 11815 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas, on July 8, 2013.
At about 1:45 p.m., the robber entered the bank and handed a teller a bank robbery demand note. In the note, the bank robber threatened to have a weapon, but none was seen by witnesses. After receiving some cash, the bank robber left the grocery store and was photographed getting into the passenger side of a blue-gray colored Ford Taurus. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The bank robber is described as a heavy-set black male, 5’10”-6’1” tall, 45-50 years old, with a dark complexion. He had a receding hairline, black and gray hair, but with his head shaved bald. He wore navy blue medical scrubs during the robbery.
