Robbery of BBVA Compass Bank Branch in Spring

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help to identify the armed man who robbed a Spring bank earlier today. Bank surveillance photographs are at the conclusion of this press release. At about 9:35 a.m., a man armed with a black semi-automatic handgun entered the BBVA Compass Bank branch located at 1532 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, Texas. He approached the teller and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the bank in a silver Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows. The vehicle was last seen going east on Spring Cypress. No one was physically hurt.
The robber is described as a black male in his 20s, 5’8” tall, 150 pounds, slender to medium build, medium complexion, wearing a green and gray plaid shirt, blue jeans, and a black do-rag on his head.
