FBI Seeks 'Ebenezer Scrooge' Bandit
Bank Robber Passed Through Holiday Concert Crowd While Robbing a Downtown Houston Bank

A bank robber passed through a crowd enjoying a holiday concert just before and after he robbed a downtown Houston bank today, December 18, 2013. The concert was taking place in the lobby of the building housing the Chase Bank branch located at 712 Main Street in Houston, Texas. The concert was not disrupted during the robbery, and no one was physically hurt during the robbery.

At about 11:42 a.m., the robber entered the bank and approached a teller. He handed the teller a demand note and also verbally demanded cash, all while others were enjoying a holiday concert in the background. The teller gave the robber some cash, and he exited the bank through the crowd. He was last seen leaving the area on foot.

The bank robber was described as a black male in his mid-30s and approximately 170 pounds with a medium build. He had a goatee. He was wearing dark colored pants, a light-colored T-shirt, and a black knit hat.
