'Wedding Band Bandit' Robs Amegy Bank Branch in Houston
Bank Robber Wore What Appeared to be a Gold Wedding Band on His Left Ring Finger During the Bank Robbery

The FBI needs your help identifying a bank robber who may be a married man. The bank robber wore what appeared to be a gold wedding band on his left ring finger while robbing the Amegy Bank branch located at 12130 Hempstead Highway in Houston, Texas. Photographs from the bank’s surveillance cameras are at the end of this press release.

At about 12:35 p.m., the man walked into the bank and displayed a black semi-automatic pistol. He demanded money from a teller and left the bank after receiving some cash. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as a black male, approximately 5’5” to 5’7” tall, 160-170 pounds with a small to medium build. He wore a black button-down shirt or jacket over a white T-shirt with dark-colored pants. He wore dark sunglasses and a black ball cap with a white star on the face of the cap. He carried a black semi-automatic pistol during the robbery.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect.
