Photos Released in Grocery Store Bank Robbery

The FBI and Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department need your help in identifying the man who robbed the Associated Credit Union of Texas (ACU Texas) Credit Union located inside the Randall’s grocery store near the corner of FM 518 and SH 288 in Pearland, Texas, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Photos taken from the credit union and grocery store security cameras are below.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., the man walked up to the counter and handed a teller a letter-sized manila envelope. The bank robber told the teller to fill the envelope with cash. The teller gave the robber some money. He left the bank and grocery store. No weapon was observed during the robbery. No one was physically hurt. There is no known vehicle description to release at this time.

The bank robber is described as an older black male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a gap between his front teeth. He wore a blue shirt and a baseball cap during the robbery.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect.
