Robber’s Note Spreads Fear, Not Holiday Cheer

Most bank customers are spreading holiday cheer this week, but instead, one man disguised as a customer handed a bank teller a threatening note, just before he robbed her. The robbery happened earlier this afternoon at the Sterling Bank, located at 855 W FM 1960 in Houston, Texas. The bank’s surveillance photographs are below.

At approximately 1:55 p.m., the man entered the bank and approached a teller. He handed her a note which demanded cash and threatened he had a gun. The teller handed him some cash, then he left the bank. No weapon was observed during the robbery. No one was physically hurt.

The robber is described as a black male, 25-26, approximately 5’9” tall, 150 pounds with a slim to medium build, and a dark complexion. He was clean shaven. He wore glasses, a taupe colored hat, and a beige shirt.
