Bank Robber Armed with a Notebook

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying the man who got a way with cash while carrying a notebook during a robbery of the Smart Financial Federal Credit Union located inside at 1249 North Loop West in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, 11/06/2010. The credit union surveillance photographs are below.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., the man entered the credit union and approached a teller carrying a legal notepad. He handed the teller a threatening note and told her to give him all her money. The teller provided the robber with some cash and he fled on foot. No weapon was observed. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” tall, 180 pounds with a slim to medium build, and a dark complexion. He wore a black baseball cap, striped polo shirt, dark jacket, and sunglasses. During the robbery, he carried a legal notepad.
