Couple Commits Crime on Thanksgiving Eve

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man and woman who robbed the 1st Convenience Bank located inside a Kroger at 1505 Wirt in Houston, Texas earlier today.    

At approximately 12:55 p.m., the couple entered the Kroger and proceeded to the bank located inside. Both approached the teller, but it was the woman who handed the teller a threatening note which demanded money. The teller turned over some cash. The robbers fled the area and were last seen running across the Kroger parking lot and across Wirt Road. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured some photographs of the couple during the robbery.   

The female robber is described as a black female, 20-25 years old, 5’3”- 5’7”, with an average build. She wore a dark baseball cap, blue and white jacket, white shirt, dark pants, and large sunglasses with white frames. The male robber is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5’8”-5’9”, with a slim to medium build and a dark complexion. He wore a dark baseball cap, blue striped shirt and dark pants.
