Investigation by the FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force has eliminated a van and its female driver from any involvement in the robbery which occurred at the Region’s Bank, located at 7801 Louetta in Spring, Texas on August 12, 2009. Pictures of the vehicle and driver were released with pictures of the suspected robber on the same day. While the investigation has eliminated the vehicle and driver in the case, the identity of the suspected robber is still unknown.

At approximately 12:23 p.m., the man entered the bank, approached a teller, and handed her a note which stated that it was a robbery and demanded cash. The teller complied with the demand and handed the robber some cash. No gun was observed during the robbery, and no one was physically hurt.

The robber is described as a white male, 28-32 years old, 6’ tall, 180 pounds, with a skinny build and a light complexion. He had a blondish-brown beard and wore clear glasses. During the robbery, he wore a green tee-shirt, dark pants, and a dark colored baseball cap.
