Navy Federal Credit Union Robbed

At approximately 10:30 a.m., the Navy Federal Credit Union, 4717 Hondo Pass, in Northeast El Paso. was robbed. The subject entered the bank brandishing a weapon and instructed everyone in the bank to, “Get down, get down,” then approached the teller and said, “Get me the money and don’t (expletive) it up.” The teller handed the subject an undisclosed amount of money and the subject fled the bank on foot through the rear exit. The subject is described as a black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6’ tall, and weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing dark blue/black gym pants, a light-colored hoodie, a tan bandana, dark sunglasses, gym gloves, and a knapsack or back pack.

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and/or has information about the robbery, please contact the FBI at 915-832-5000.
