FBI Task Force Solves Chase Bank Robbery

The FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force has successfully solved the attempted bank robbery of Chase Bank, 5209 Wren, El Paso, Texas on January 31, 2011. The FBI, working in conjunction with the El Paso Police Department, completed its investigation and arrested JONATHAN LEE READ, 25 years old, of the 5100 block of Raymond Telles, El Paso, Texas. READ, unemployed, was arrested without incident and is being held at the El Paso County Detention facility. READ will have his initial appearance before a magistrate judge, where he will be charged with one count of bank robbery with a dangerous weapon.

This case was worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department.
