FBI Task Force Solves Compass Bank Robberies

The FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force has successfully solved the two recent bank robberies committed against Compass Bank. Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, the FBI completed its investigation and charged OSCAR ARTURO MARTINEZ, 31 years old, of the 1900 block of Granview, El Paso, Texas, with two counts of bank robbery and possession of a firearm. MARTINEZ is currently incarcerated in the El Paso County Detention Facility on unrelated state charges.   

This case was worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department.
