“Pint Sized Robber” Strikes El Paso Bank

Bank of the West, 10400 Montwood, El Paso, Texas, was robbed shortly before 1 p.m. today. The subject walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The subject stuffed the money into his pants pocket then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen running from the southeast corner of the bank. This is the city’s 13th bank robbery of the year.

Subject Description:

  • Hispanic Male, late 20s or early 30s
  • About 5’3” tall, medium build
  • Dark sunglasses
  • Black baseball cap worn backwards, beige long sleeve t-shirt, dark baggy pants
  • Tattoo on neck near left ear

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank at Montwood and Yarbrough, and has information about this robbery, please call the FBI at 915-832-5000.
