Q: What does this service cost?
A: There is no cost to sign up for or receive FBI e-mail updates. If you choose to provide a wireless telephone number for text alerts, the standard rates of your carrier will apply.

A: Either via e-mail or on your mobile device. If you wish, you can also choose to receive updates on both.
Q: What information does the FBI collect from me?
A: Only your e-mail address, and if you choose to provide it, your wireless telephone number for text updates.
Q: How does the FBI use my information?
A: Your e-mail address will only be used to register you for e-mail notifications and to allow you to access your account. Learn more at http://www.fbi.gov/privacy_policy.
Q: How often will I receive updates?
A: You can choose to receive them immediately as they are sent or in daily, weekly, or monthly digests.
Q: How do I update my e-mail address and other information?
A: Visit the [subscriber account page] to change your subscription at any time or to update your information. You will be sent an e-mail with a unique link that enables you to access and update your account.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Visit the [subscriber account page] and enter your e-mail address. You will be sent an e-mail with a unique link to a page that will enable you to unsubscribe.
Q: How do I know if the e-mails I receive are actually from the FBI?
A: In the address field of your e-mail, it will say delivery.fbi.gov. Sometimes address fields are hidden by your e-mail provider; please check with your provider to find out how to enable this option.
Q: What do I do if I need to contact someone for support?
A: E-mail us at delivery@ic.fbi.gov. Please be specific about the help you need, the browser and e-mail service you are using, etc.
