FBI Detroit Announces 2012 Director’s Leadership Community Award Recipient

Robert D. Foley, III, Special Agent in Charge of the Detroit Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that Dr. Grenae Dudley was named the recipient of the 2012 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award (DCLA).
The DCLA is presented annually by the FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III to a recipient in each of the FBI’s 56 domestic field offices. Established in 1990, the DCLA is designed to publicly recognize an individual or organization that has helped with crime prevention and educational programs within their community.
In selecting Dr. Grenae Dudley as the 2012 recipient of this prestigious award, noted were her many contributions over the years as a community leader who pro-actively stays on the forefront in an effort to empower our youth of today.
A professional advocate of children’s welfare for more than 20 years, Dr. Grenae Dudley is the president and CEO of The Youth Connection. From its inception as The Youth Connection in 1996, this initiative was developed to create a program that would engage youth in Detroit, Mt. Clemens, and Pontiac in quality after-school programs.
It is with great pleasure that the Detroit Division awards Dr. Grenae Dudley with the 2012 Director’s Community Leadership Award.
