U.S. Attorney’s Office October 12, 2010
  • Western District of Michigan (616) 456-2404

MARQUETTE, MI—Robert Andrew Faber, 33, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a former resident of Gladstone, Michigan, was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison for receipt of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Donald A. Davis announced today. In addition to the prison term, Senior U.S. District Judge R. Allan Edgar ordered Faber to serve three years of supervised release following his release from prison, and to pay a $100 special assessment. On June 1, 2010, Faber pleaded guilty to Count 1 of a federal indictment charging him with receipt of child pornography. Faber admitted that while living in Gladstone, he had received child pornography on compact discs from a source in Indiana which he would then make available on his computer to others seeking child pornography.
