Authorities Seek Help in Locating the Longhorn Bandit

The Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Broomfield, and Arvada Police Departments and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating four bank robberies, one casing, and one attempted bank robbery believed to have been committed by the same individual.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or white male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 6’1” to 6’2” in height, about 200 pounds, with dark skin and a mustache.

 


The suspect presented a note, received money, and fled the bank.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
