Seeking Information on Robbery of TCF Bank Branch in Edgewater

The Edgewater Police Department and FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating a bank robbery.

The robbery occurred at:

TCF Bank
1709 Sheridan Boulevard
Edgewater, Colorado

On 11/04/2010 at approximately 9:27 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” in height, approximately 150 pounds, with black hair partial graying, with spotty facial hair. He was wearing a black dress shirt, a black and grey tie, black dress pants, black shoes, and carrying a backpack.

The suspect demanded money and fled the bank southbound on Sheridan Blvd on a purple bicycle.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
