Robbery of First Bank Branch in Wheat Ridge

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) responded to a bank robbery which occurred on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at approximately 5:45 p.m. at the 1st Bank, 4350 Wadsworth Blvd., Wheat Ridge, Colorado, 80030.
The suspect is described as a white male.
The suspect handed the teller a note which stated that he had a gun and demanded money.
The robber left on foot and was last seen calmly walking south bound in the parking lot until out of sight.
The investigation has revealed that this same person is responsible for three previous robberies:

In the U.S. Bank robbery the described male was wearing a letter jacket, which led the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force to dub the bank robber the “JV Bandit.”
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
