“Bad Hatter Bandit” Bank Robber Aprehended

On Tuesday, June 1, 2010, the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) arrested DEBRA FLAMIO, date of birth 07-31-1955, for bank robbery. Flamio is believed to be the BAD HATTER BANDIT, responsible for an attempted bank robbery on 04-15-2010, at the TCF Bank, at 2090 S University Blvd, in Denver and a bank robbery a short time later the same day at the Bank of the West, 6565 E Evans, Denver. A third bank robbery is believed to have been committed by the BAD HATTER BANDIT on 05-25-2010, at the Bank of the West, located at 2050 S Downing, in Denver.

FLAMIO was arrested without incident after being contacted by Denver Police and FBI agents from the RMSSTF in the 3300 block of S. Holly Way, in Denver.

FLAMIO will be jailed in the Denver City Jail and will appear before a United States Magistrate Judge. The case will be prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office, District of Colorado.
