“$83 Bandit” Wanted

The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a serial bank robber dubbed the “$83 Bandit.” The bank robber is suspected of committing at least eight (8) bank robberies in the Denver area since March 2009. The $83 Bandit typically enters the bank and presents a bank robbery demand note. No weapon has been observed by the witnesses, but he has threatened a weapon in his demand note. Once the teller complies with the demand, the $83 Bandit takes the stolen money and flees the bank. No vehicle information is known at the time of this press release.

Investigators believe the $83 Bandit may frequent shelters or be homeless. Witnesses describe him as having bad teeth or at least a bad front tooth.

He is generally described as:

White Male
In his 30s or 40s
5’07” to 6’00” tall
Slim build
Blondish colored hair

The $83 Bandit is suspected of robbing the following banks:
