Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in Aurora

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed bank robber. Shortly before 3:00 p.m. this afternoon a male armed with a handgun entered the BANK OF THE WEST located at 13781 East Yale Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. He pointed the gun at a security guard and then demanded money from the teller.

The robber fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. The robber was generally described White Male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’08” to 5’10”, medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and white tennis shoes.
