Bank Robbery Suspect Sought by FBI

The Dallas FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and Dallas Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible for two bank robbery offenses in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, December 20, 2014.

On December 20, 2014, the suspect entered Bank of America at 5116 Greenville Ave. and verbally demanded cash from the bank teller; he did not receive money and fled the bank on foot. On the same day, approximately an hour and a half later, an individual believed to be the same suspect verbally demanded money from a teller at Chase Bank at 5220 W. Lovers Ln. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the location on foot. While the subject indicated he had a weapon, no one was physically injured during either incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25 to 35 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, with an average build. His hair appears to be close-shaved, and he may have a receding hairline; he also has a close-shaved beard. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and distinctive mirrored sunglasses during both robberies. At one banking location, he wore a dark beanie-style cap with a light-colored logo.
