Mesh Mask Bandit Sought by FBI
Reward Offered, New Images Released

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is looking for a man who is suspected of robbing 14 area banks since December 31, 2012.

The most recent robbery occurred on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Citibank located at 1401 N. Collins Street in Arlington, Texas. The suspect entered the bank with a weapon drawn, verbally demanded cash, and ran away from the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

A composite drawing was prepared based on a witness description of the man before he pulled on the full coverage mask that gave him the moniker the “Mesh Mask Bandit.” The robber is described as a Hispanic male with a dark complexion, 37 to 43 years old, 5’7” to 6’2” tall, with a medium to large build; he has dark hair and dark eyes and may wear a mustache and goatee. His clothing or skin may have been temporarily dyed red during the robbery that occurred on January 31, 2013, in Dallas.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. A reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and/or conviction of this robber.
