Assistant United States Attorney Receives Award from FBI for Community Leadership

COLUMBIA, SC—United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that Assistant United States Attorney Stacey Haynes has been awarded the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s 2012 Director’s Community Leadership Award based on her extensive work in the community and her dedication to reducing gun violence. AUSA Haynes serves as the coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office Project Safe Neighborhood Initiative and also as the Anti-Gang coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Ms. Haynes also spends a great deal of her personal time mentoring youth.

Each year, the FBI gives an award to an outstanding member or organization from each field office that works to make their communities safer. AUSA Stacey Haynes received the award for the Columbia Division. She and the other recipients were celebrated with a ceremony at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Saturday April 5, 2013.
