FBI Chicago July 27, 2012
  • Special Agent Garrett Croon (312) 829-1199

A bank robbery occurred today, July 27, 2012, in Glendale Heights at approximately 12:45 p.m. The robbery occurred at a TCF Bank branch located at 2164 N. Bloomingdale Road, and the robber is believed to be the same person who struck a TCF Bank branch in Stickney, Illinois, on June 11, 2012. In today’s robbery, the robber approached the teller, demanded cash in a note, and after receiving cash, left the bank on foot. The robber implied that he had a weapon, but he did not display one. No injuries were reported.

Witnesses said that the robber was a white male who wore a bright orange baseball cap with a Chicago Bears “C” logo on the front, eyeglasses, a white shirt, and dark shorts.
