TCF Bank Branch in North Riverside Robbed

On Wednesday, March 23, 2011, the TCF Bank branch located inside the Jewel-Osco at 7201 W. 24th Street, North Riverside, Illinois, was robbed. Around 5:15 p.m., a lone white male armed with a handgun walked into the bank, approached the teller counter, and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of this robbery. The robber is further described as being in his 40s, wearing a dark-colored windbreaker, blue jeans, sunglasses, beard, and a black/white sports hat, possibly a Blackhawks hat.
