Robbery of Metropolitan Bank Branch in Lyons

Below are bank surveillance photos from a bank robbery in Lyons, Illinois. The details are as follows:

On Thursday, November 10, 2011, around 4:20 p.m., a lone white/Hispanic male entered the Metropolitan Bank, 8744 Ogden Avenue, Lyons, IL. He walked up to the teller counter, handed the teller a note announcing a bank robbery, and threatened harm if his demands for cash were not met. He implied he had a weapon, but none was observed. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of this robbery.

The robber was further described as follows:

Brown hair, approximately 5’10” in height, 150-160 lbs., wearing a dark blue pullover sweatshirt.
