Charter One Bank Branch Robbery

On Thursday, July 29, 2010, the Charter One Bank branch, 540 West Lake Street, Addison, Illinois, was robbed by a lone black male. He entered the bank around 3:25 p.m., walked over to the teller counter, handed the teller a note, and announced a robbery. He implied he had a weapon, though none was observed, and threatened harm if his demands for cash were not met. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported.

He is further described as being 35-37 years of age, 225 lbs., 6’1” tall, short dark hair, and a mustache. He was wearing a baseball-style cap, glasses, and a white t-shirt. (See photos below)
