FBI Chicago June 14, 2010
  • Special Agent Garrett Croon (312) 829-1199

Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual depicted in the below wanted flyer, who is believed responsible for the armed robbery of two (2) west suburban banks and the attempted robbery of a third since April of this year.

The most recent theft occurred on April 28, when the TCF Bank branch, located at 800 North Harlem in River Forest, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money. As he has done in prior incidents, the robber entered the bank and approached a teller. He then verbally announced a robbery and demanded money from her cash drawer. After obtaining money from the teller, the robber fled the bank on foot, disappearing into the passing crowd.

Other robberies this individual is suspected of committing are the April 1 theft at the Fifth Third Bank branch located at 7112 West Cermak Road, and the April 21 attempted robbery of the Charter One Bank branch located at 6201 West Cermak Road, both in Berwyn.
