Public’s Help Sought in Search for “Winnie the Pooh Bandit”

Below are bank surveillance photos of the individual responsible for the armed robbery Friday afternoon of the Chase Bank branch, located at 1 South Northwest Highway in Park Ridge. The robber was described as a white/male, 35 - 40 years of age, 6’0 tall, 225 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue, long sleeve sweatshirt with a “Winnie the Pooh” emblem on the front.

The robber was armed with a handgun, which he used to threaten bank employees with if his demands were not met. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported. The FBI and Park Ridge PD are investigating.
