Gang Member and Multiple Homicide Suspect Arrested in California

CHARLOTTE, NC—Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies and FBI Agents in Fresno, CA arrested a man wanted on a federal Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant for a homicide in Charlotte, NC and another homicide in Cincinnati, OH. Hector Retana (dob: 04/01/1988) was taken into custody without incident.

Retana is wanted in Charlotte for a homicide on December 6, 2008 at 324 Belton Street.

Investigators with the Charlotte FBI Safe Streets Task Force, the State Bureau of Investigation and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department worked together to apprehend Retana.
