Buffalo Man Sentenced in 31-Gang Case

BUFFALO, NY—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Jahaad Richardson, 32, of Buffalo, N.Y., who was convicted of cocaine trafficking, was sentenced seven years in prison by District Judge Richard J. Arcara.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael L. McCabe, who handled the case, Richardson obtained quantities of crack cocaine from Glance Ross, who was a member of the “31-Gang” on Buffalo’s east side. Richardson then sold the crack cocaine to his own customers in the City.
Glance Ross was convicted of cocaine trafficking and money laundering and sentenced to 139 months in prison in November, 2011.
The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation on the part of special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Christopher M. Piehota.
