ROCHESTER, NY—United States Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced the sentencing of Ronaldo Henriquez, 64, of Los Angeles, California, to 144 months in prison by United States District Judge Charles J. Siragusa. Henriquez pleaded guilty on January 21, 2010, to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Brett Harvey, who handled the case, stated that the defendant Henriquez, a former boxer and actor in Los Angeles, was responsible for distributing between 15 and 50 kilos of cocaine to an individual who transported it to the Rochester area and distributed it to others (including an associate of an outlaw motorcycle gang). The case involved the execution of a search warrant at Henriquez's residence in Los Angeles, which resulted in the seizure of quantities of cocaine and two loaded firearms.
The case was spearheaded by the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Rochester under the direction of James H. Robertson, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Los Angeles, California and the Long Beach, California Police Department.
