BIRMINGHAM—Acting Special Agent in Charge (A/SAC) Charles E. Regan announced today that the FBI and Tuscaloosa Police Department are again asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the subject of the April 23, 2009 robbery of The Cadence Bank, Indian Hills Branch, at 1615 McFarland Boulevard North, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his late 30’s to early 50’s, approximately 5’11”, 190 pounds, reddish skin, possibly from sun exposure, graying blonde hair, possibly shoulder length. The suspect carried a dark green or teal colored back pack with black straps. Suspect was wearing a Nike t-shirt with Nike “Swoosh” design across the front, a baseball hat, possibly a Montgomery Biscuits baseball team hat or similar design.

Attached are surveillance photos and recreation of the t-shirt.  Also attached is a photo of a Montgomery Biscuits baseball team hat. Investigators are not certain if the photographs of the shirt and hat are identical to the shirt and hat worn by the suspect, but given the information they have at this time want to share it with the public for possible leads.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tuscaloosa Resident Agency of the FBI at (205) 464-4448 or Tuscaloosa Crime Stoppers at (205) 752-STOP (7867).  Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the conviction of the person(s) involved.
