FBI Violent Crimes/Gang Safe Streets Task Force Makes Arrest for May 11, 2009 Regions Bank Robbery

BIRMINGHAM—Acting Special Agent in Charge (A/SAC) Charles E. Regan announced today that the FBI’s Violent Crimes/Gang Safe Streets Task Force arrested Harvey Stuart Dickson, 53, without incident at approximately 6:50 p.m. on May 11, 2009, on state charges relating to the robbery of the Regions Bank located at 475 Green Springs Avenue, Homewood, Alabama. Dickson was arrested at the Comfort Inn, Fairfield, Alabama and was transported to the Homewood, Alabama jail. A toy gun was located at the time of arrest. A/SAC Regan expressed his thanks for the invaluable assistance of the Homewood Police Department in this investigation and subsequent arrest.
