On July 24, 2012, Ms. Ripken was taken from her home in Aberdeen, Maryland and transported in her own car through areas of Harford and Baltimore Counties before being returned to her residence unharmed early the next morning. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, with short brown hair and eyeglasses.
